Technopolymer Chair – tipa
This project explores a one-piece chair made of technopolymer, conceived as a durable and versatile seating solution. The chair is manufactured as a single moulded element, ensuring structural continuity, robustness and ease of maintenance. An optional low upholstered seat can be added to the technopolymer shell. This soft element visually enriches the chair and introduces a contrasting material layer, allowing the chair to move beyond the typical associations of plastic furniture with outdoor use. The upholstered insert enhances comfort while extending the chair’s application to interior environments. The chair is stackable, optimised for efficient storage and flexible use. It is available in two versions – with or without armrests – offering adaptability to different spatial and functional contexts. The design balances material efficiency, functionality and a restrained aesthetic, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
