Freestanding Washbasin – allegro

The project presents a freestanding washbasin made of engineered stone, produced using a mould-based manufacturing process. The exterior surface is defined by a distinctive textured finish, giving the object a strong tactile and material presence. The upper edge is designed with a gentle inclination that transitions seamlessly into a flat surface around the tap area. This subtle gesture softens the geometry while ensuring functional clarity and ease of use. The washbasin can be optionally equipped with an integrated towel holder and is available with two alternative base or leg configurations, allowing for different spatial and aesthetic interpretations. The design balances material expression, functional detailing and sculptural simplicity.
